has always been one for deep conversations--ones that share what is really on someone's mind, and what matters most to them. His fascination and love for all things 'human' began during his time in religious education, was cultivated through teaching high school Theology and Philosophy, and has recently led him into the world of counseling, where he feels very much at home.
Jacob strives to provide a warm and validating therapeutic space so that all clients can feel safe and heard in every moment of their healing journey. Jacob is passionate about healing through self compassion and acceptance and sees most challenges through an ACT lens, while also employing techniques from CBT, DBT, and IFS—all from a strongly person-centered foundation. Jacob shares that it is always a profound and meaningful experience to him to support someone in their journey of personal growth and development.
Jacob is available on Saturday mornings and afternoons. He is supervised by Jared Sparks - LPCC-S.
